Change the Way You View Money

The first book on money I read was the classic Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. There is some controversy surrounding Robert Kiyosaki, but that does not change the fact that this book radically changed the way I looked at money. For this reason, I think it the perfect book to start with.

I was raised to see money as something you worked hard for. My parents always struggled financially, but they worked hard and were able to send me to one of the best private schools in my city. I believe that seeing my parents struggle financially, whilst at the same time attending a school with a lot of wealthy kids, was what gave me my interest in money and finance (I have a Commerce degree and currently work in Business Banking).

Exercise Every Day

exercise every day

One of the keys to success, if not the key, is the development of good habits. I could go on about the importance of habits all day, but today I want to write about habits in relation to exercise. In particular, what I believe is one of the best habits to develop for good health: exercise every day.

Firstly, everyone exercises for different reasons. Some people wish to lose weigh. Some people wish to increase their strength. Some people enjoy the social aspect of it. Some enjoy the competition. You get the idea. Despite these different reasons, everyone would agree that you feel great after exercise. The post-exercise surge in endorphins makes you feel on top of the world.

How Becoming a Dad Changed My Life

I found out I was going to be a dad on my 24th birthday. At the time this is the last thing in the world that I wanted. Despite being in a loving relationship, I did not want a kid because I felt too young, I didn’t want the financial burden and I wanted to do more travel.

At the time of writing this, my son Xavier is 8 weeks old. I can honestly say there has not been a bigger moment in my life than seeing my son for the first time. He is an absolute joy, and seeing his smiling face can wipe away the worries of the world in an instant.

Changing Your Life: An Introduction

I must admit, as I begin the creation of this site I have a million and one ideas rushing around my head. So where to start? Well I guess a good place would be to look a bit closer at the idea of “changing your life”.

Peoples lives change constantly. They change in ways big and small. They change in ways good and bad. If there is one certainty in life, its the fact that you will change in numerous ways throughout your life. In short, change is unavoidable.
