I’m Emily Wassell, a watercolor artist, and teacher based in the UK. I fell in love with the magic of watercolor when I was looking for a creative outlet, away from my corporate day job. I bought a student kit and some cheap paper and painted every single day, sometimes losing hours at a time to the process. Watercolour is a fascinating challenge for a reformed perfectionist! You have to learn to let go and let the water do its thing. It’s not an overstatement to say that painting has changed my life and opened up a world of creative possibilities that I could never have imagined!
